QUYÊN DI

Prof. Quyên Di currently teaches Vietnamese Language, Literature and Culture at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as well as at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). An expert in Asian cultures, languages, and immigration, Vietnam and Vietnamese, Saigon and Little Saigon, in 2106 he received the Asian Heritage Award for Innovation from the Asian Heritage Society. In November 2019, Prof. Quyên Di went viral on Twitter with 7 million views and 700,000 likes when he brought stuffed animals into his classes to reward good and hard-working students. Prof. Quyên Di is also a trained spiritual director and family counselor.

CAROLINE NETTO, Ph.D.

Dr. Caroline Netto pursued higher studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi, submitting her PhD thesis in 2019. She has a Masters in Sociology and a M.Phil. and PhD in the interdisciplinary field of Social Medicine and Community Health from JNU. She is currently pursuing a second Masters in Psychology while working as a research consultant. Having received academic training and formation in a university influenced by Marxist and leftist ideologies challenged her to explore, in the light of her Catholic values, the gender question, the inner meanings of feminine identity, the meaning and purpose of family, and marriage and society. She works also with Jesus Youth and in the Pro-life ministry while finding joy in the little things: cooking, traveling, and getting lost in the beauty of nature.

LIVIA BASTOS ANDRADE, Ph.D.

Dr. Livia Bastos Andrade is a Research Professor in the Philosophy School of the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) in Mexico and is currently pursuing a second masters degree in scientific psychology at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. Dr. Bastos Andrade is also a member of the Peirce Latin American Society and of the Scientific Committee of the Correlatos Journal, aimed at family issues. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Bastos Andrade has worked with child victims of guerrilla violence in Colombia, with poor families in Peru and Rio de Janeiro, and with sick children in Italy, being responsible for the care of the children and their families in the "Casa Famiglia Giovanni Paolo II." As the granddaughter of a talented musician, a passion for music and the arts is part of her DNA.

Aleksander Sztramski, S.T.L.

Born in Poland in 1983, Prof. Sztramski received a Masters in Law in 2009, a Masters of Theology in 2011, and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology in 2015 from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torún. Since 2009, he has been researching and teaching St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. In 2017, he received a research grant from the National Science Centre to broaden the scope of this research in terms of the analytical philosophy of Roger Scruton and the mystical theology of Adrienne von Speyr. Prof. Sztramski owns an IT business and chairs a foundation. He is a worshipper of God, a coffee enthusiast, the husband of Monika, and the father of Józek and Stanisław.
